My Story, Our Story

I was officially diagnosed with Bipolar I in the winter of 2019, but I've been trying to ride this tumultuous wave for as long as I can remember!

My ups and downs have taken me to places weird, wonderful, and/or terrible, and I know I wouldn't be who I am without my unique (and at times annoying af) brain chemistry.

In between the good and bad days, I've stumbled upon some tips, bits of insight, humor and light that I'd like to share with you. Whether it's links to cute, sturdy pill organizers (seriously get on that y'all!), a yummy recipe to boost serotonin, or my experience with hospitalization, I want to start a conversation with you about *our* experiences, by unashamedly sharing mine.

Being bipolar is anything but easy peasy, but I believe that with a mindful, self-compassionate approach it's an ailment we can live well with. We can find things to laugh about, things to be grateful for, and special ways to care for ourselves and those around us. We can be our best bipolar bear selves! 🖤
